Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the stereos on their WW? One of my rocker switches came unconnected and i want to reattach it. It is like a birds nest in that compartment......
I'll expand your question. I would like to add outside speakers to my WW FSC2800 ('06). There are wires to the outside of the TH at the exterior location for the speakers and they are marked speakers.
However, when connected to speakers there is no sound on the rear connection. Does anyone have the wiring diagram so I can trouble shoot the system.
I agree it is a birds nest behind the stereo and there is no logic to the color code system of the wires.
I own an '05 FS2600 WW and I added outdoor speakers to the existing system.
Yes, there are wires located outside by the stickers applied at the factory, but No, they are not live.
You'll have to access the rear of the head unit and hook those wires up to a source. In my model the stereo is mounted in a wall cabinet and I got access by removing the bottom shelf inside the cabinet.
I also added a small amp to help boost the signal since the head unit alone isn't powerful enough to drive the outside speakers.
I don't have any "rocker" switches, that must be part of an option I don't have.
Mine too lowryter. My outsides are both the same channel and the inside bedroom are also on one channel. The 4 speakers in the galley/kitchen are fine, both left and right. Why????

WW uses a four channel deck, so if you want to run the (4) inside speakers, and the (2) outdoor ones, you need to wire it this way.
Take the leads of both left side, inside speakers, and plug them into the "front left" speaker output. Take the leads of both right side, inside speakers, and plug them into the "front right" speaker output.
My stock Sony deck in my SLC had a "pre-amp out" RCA plug in the back, which controls the REAR channel speakers. I took an RCA cable out of that plug, and ran it to an amp that I mounted on the cabinet above the sink. The amp has its' own, dedicated 12v supply that I ran from the breaker panel, with a inline fuse. I also wired a lighted 12v toggle switch to the face of the cabinet(next to the gas guage) to control on/off of the amp. I took the OUTSIDE speaker leads, and ran them up the back of the cabinet, and connected them to the L/R output of the amp.
Soooo, if you want to listen to music on the (4) indoor speakers, use the fade control on the deck, fade to "full front", and the (4) inside speakers play.
If you want to listen to the (2) outdoor speakers, fade to "full rear", throw the toggle to power the amp, and the (2) outside speakers play. If you fade to "0" or center, and the amp is on, ALL the speakers play. Works GREAT!! Make sense???? Hope this helps, C-Ya!!
