If you want to own a site, this would be as good a place as any I know of. The key, however, is property values. Is it like all CA real estate and "guaranteed" to go up?

YOu need to also look into their monthly maintenance fees.

I think they have the ten year rule, so figure that in the price too somewhere down the line.

Outdoor Resorts are great parks. Fun to watch the gardners fight over who gets to pull the rare stray weed!

yes theres a 10 year rule but that is open to descretion. It can be older than ten years as long as it is in like new type condition
so will deal with that when the time comes.I am going to buy a lot

Nice area. We used to live on Silver Tip Circle right across the street from Gerald Ford Elementary School.

There are actually three in the area. There is also Outdoor Resort Palm Springs (actually in Cathedral city). We looked at and stayed in all three for a week or so before buying there 4 years ago. Try em all before you decide. They each have their own merits. Some of the reasons we chose in Outdoor Resort Palm Springs were location, facilities, size, orchard, amenities, golf courseRV parts and convenience store etc. This is all personal taste stuff so what works for us may work for you. They are all nice. Happy to answer any questions for you. Good luck.

True John there are 3 but the new one on 48 is for the rich and famous
(in their own minds)I looked at the one your in and i really did not like the crowds(1200 verses 419) so I bought in the old 48ave ODR and I really think the Tennis courts, club house, resturant.Club house, swimming pools etc are far superior than the ones in your place
Of course Just my opinion but I really looked very close at both and dollar for dollar I feel 48ave is a much nicer place and better deal
Time will tell as I am going to spend my first winter there starting Nov 01/08.When are you going to your palce on ramon?

Can't see how you won't enjoy your winter there. We have a few friends who have lots there and really enjoy them. It just wasn't for us but this is a perfect example of what each of us finds attractive. The very things you liked about yours and disliked about ours was just the opposite as us. Strictly a matter of personal taste. I especially like the entrance way to your resort. Looks nice when you turn in off of 48th. Have a great winter and stop in for a cold one some day. We'll be there around the first week of November
