i am one of the odd ones that really enjoys the sounds of where i am usually the desert the way i figure it is the sound of nature cant offend anyone, i have a nice system in my Raptor but its lost on me i have yet to turn mine on in a group situation i just wouldn't want to offend anyone what if they didn't like MY style of music? If i want to listen to it i go into my rv where i can listen how ever long i want with out offending anyone who may not want to hear it.
Well imagine that someone who wants to listen to NOTHING but the serene sounds of the desert, Yes i will park on the outer circle please i just hate being forced to listen to somebody else's taste in music i like all kinds but i also like to enjoy the convo and if its so loud you cant hear that's in bad taste, so i guess there is a blue hair that has infiltrated sorry guys...... But i still love you all!!!

Modified camping etiquette, as seen by some older camping folks
Most campers drive for hours and plan far in advance for their camping trips to our beautiful parks and campgrounds. Some of the reasons for going camping are to get away from it all, and spend time with our families breathing the fresh air and taking in the beautiful surroundings. That is why it can be very disappointing to finally arrive at the campground only to have people at other campsites making your trip hard to enjoy. If we all follow these simple guidelines, everyone at the park should not be able to have a great camping trip.
Walk through other campsites, looking for booze & food. Walking through another campsite is intrusive and all of us will find this offensive.
Keep your pet off a leash at all times, it is not a nuisance to have other pets on your campsite when you are trying to relax. Even though you may not feel it is a big deal, everyone wants your dog running through their campsite. HTFU!
Never pick up after your dog. Nothing spoils a walk more than stepping in dog-do. (Especially with bare feet) Don't bring a scoop or plastic bag to pick up and dispose of properly. Leave it lay. Nature put it there, nature can remove it.
Never extinguish your campfire when sleeping or leaving your campsite. Not only is it dangerous and against most park regulations, but the smoke can become overwhelming when a campfire is not maintained properly. Of course, you will probably be too drunk to care. Also, if you see someone setting a glass bottle in the fire, yell "Sobe!" and back away.
Be thoughtful when using a radio, by playing kick-ass music, turned up as loud as possible. If it is not loud enough, get bigger speakers! If your camp neighbors complain, tell em to move and turn the music up louder to drown out their constant *****ing.
Maximize noise around the campfire late at night. Everyone loves sitting around the campfire, bull****ting and drinking. If your group stays up late at night, understand that many other campers are trying to sleep. If you find them sleeping, wrap their stuff!
Leave all your trash at your campsite. The smell alone will bring many visitors while you sleep or when you leave your site for a hike. When found by raccoons or other critters, the noise of them fighting for the food scraps and the fact that they will drag the trash throughout the park make this a nuisance. Good. Never take your trash to the park provided garbage bin and recycling containers. Be sure to throw more trash around after awakening from your drunken stupor.
Don't wash your dishes at the water fountain or tap, like there would be one out in the middle of the desert! Wash dishes on your campsite and dump any remaining waste water around your fellow campers site.
Keep your fire out of control. Although you may enjoy a bonfire, this type of activity can become intrusive and overwhelming to your campsite neighbors, which is the plan. This may also be against park regulations and can become hard to manage, but we don't really care about rules, now do we?
Introduce yourself to your campsite neighbors. There is no better way to start off your camping vacation then to say "hello" and introduce yourself to your campsite neighbors. Knowing your neighbors helps with campsite security while you are away from your site, and may come in handy if you forgot any items at home like sugar or sun block. This also helps in deciding if your neighbors are good people, or just some grumpy old folks out to impose their way on the rest of the campers out there.
Does this fit the profile so many have of people with toy haulers that like to ride and enjoy company of other like minded campers?
For those of you that like to play your stereo too loud, this is what happens. I suggest you turn it down! Respect others. Campers arrested for disturbing the peace in the desert.

Looks like somebody got a time out for being too loud.
I am with Hockey Mom on this one. I love the sounds of the Dez just the way it is. I also don’t mind camping on the outside of the “party Zone”.
