Unless someone can point me at the correct answer, I will call Winnebago when I get home next week.

An earlier thread had Winnebago owners who had the chassis electric locks also lock the house door. Mine doesn't.

Keyless Remote Add-On for E450

I looked today and the electric lock solenoid is installed in my house door and is wired, but does not function.

How can I get the house door to lock/unlock when the cab door electric lock controls are activated? Wire needs to be hooked up? Fuse installed?

I have a 2007 Winnebago Outlook WF331C on a Ford E450 Superduty chassis.

Two questions, Do you have key fobs that work the Ford chassis doors? and does the coach door lock and unlock with the cab power door locks rocker switches? We are fortunate enough to have the Outlook stored by the house, if I am going in to the unit, I usually unlock all the doors without take the keys out of the stick house and then lockup by pushing the rocker switch on the cab door, with the coach door closed, then closing the Ford door.

If the coach door locks and unlocks by the switches on the cab door, I should work with the Ford key fobs. If it doesnot check all the connections, on the remote module in the door as well as the backs of the contacts in the hinge side of the door jamb. A volt meter can be used if you have someone else push the lock buttons on a Ford door. Watch the meter carefully as it only gives a split second blimp on the gauge. This must be done on the wall side contacts, not the door side contacts.

I don't have fobs, but can buy some from a third party vender. But unless they work the coach door, they aren't worth it to me.

The cab doors work on the rocker switches, but the coach door does not. I have checked the connections inside the door. They are fine. I used a digital volt meter to check for voltage on the hinge side contacts while my wife pressed the switch multiple times. I saw no response. Would an analog volt meter twitch the needle better? I have one of those too.

Thank you

Analog would be better - perhaps a 12 volt automotive trouble light might work too...

Finally got to check the contacts in the door frame with an analog meter. There is no power to those contacts. I am going to have to try to find where the wires from those contacts terminate and where they need to be hooked up to work.

Thanks. I have those printed out and in a loose leaf folder already and have gone cross-eyed trying to find what I need on there.
