The HD Dodges only have a 36,000 mile power train warranty????? YIKES!

I may be wrong, but I believe the Hemi HDs have the lifetime powertrain warranty.

The Cummins engine has the 100,000 mile warranty, and in the cab/chassis models the Aisin transmission has a 180,000 mile warranty.

Still a little suprised as many manufacturers cover the whole powertrain for around 6yrs/60k now it seems.

something else to be aware of go price 19.5 and the 22.5 tires. on the 22.5 tires you are talking real truck tires and i bet they are 300.00 each.

The Sterling Bullet is the same truck as the Dodge 4500/5500 Chassis Cabs. And that is a GOOD thing, in my opinion. There are slightly different interior and exterior appointments, of course, just to distinguish it from the Dodge but same truck. The Sterling will have the new 6 spd Aisin automatic if you get an auto tranny, and that is also a GOOD thing as everything that I've read about the new Aisin says that it is better than the Allison. I prefer a manual tranny myself because of their reliability and the G56 6 spd manual in the Dodge/Sterling is also a very heavy-duty unit. It is the same tranny that is found in many medium-duty Mercedes-Benz trucks.

Yes, I\We'd go with the Auto, but they aren't discounting them enough for me so far.

I'm working between a F450 Lariat or the Sterling, which has less features. There is still a 10k advantage by going with the loaded Ford, we'll see, it's not all about the $$$, but it does factor in.
