Okay, borrowed a Rhino and let me tell you in a 12' garage you can't fit a full size quad next to it. Looks like we will have to decide Rhino or quads. Kids quads will fit next to it, but nothing like a Raptor.
I know this is a lot of work and maybe not worth it for the average person but... Drain all the fuel out of the tanks of the Raptors. Push the Raptors in and position them up against on of the side walls and stand them up on end, it'll make then 6'2" tall but give them a floor footprint around 46" wide X 28" deep (give or take). Once you have the Raptors in and standing up then pull in the Rhino and strap the Raptors to it and the floor. Just pull the fuel line off drain the fuel into a container.

For me this would be a real pain because our riding spot is about 1.5 hours away so I bought a TH that was bigger than I needed so I could just drive every bike straight in and strap it down.

With the space that would work (becuase you still have about 36" on once side of the Rhino). I was concerned about standing the quad up because of the oil and that would settle. Some people say don't do it and some say it is not big deal???

I don't know about the oil but I suppose if you set it down on it's wheels for 5 or so mins before you start it you should be ok. Maybe consult your local ATV dealer before you actually do it. There are a lot of stands for toy haulers that stand the bike up pretty high but not quite on end.

I used to load my wife's Polaris Trail Boss, my YZ400 dirt bike and my son's Yamaha Blaster (prior to that a Honda TRX90) in the back of my truck. To do that I had to stand my sons quad straight up. Since I usually loaded the truck the night prior to the trip, that quad would stand straight up for about 10 hours each time and I did that for several years with no problems at all to the quad. You don't have to empty the gas tank, just make sure the level is a bit below the gas cap when you stand it up. For some reason, I've had gas leak out the vent tube which was routed up over the handle bars. You do have to drain the carb float bowl or it will leak for sure.

What did you do, just turn off the fuel and let it run till it stalls?

I put my rhino with a rear bench seat with three four point harnesses in my hauler with a full size honda 450r behind it. I put the rhino all the way in. Lift the rear and slide the rear all the way to the left as far as it will go, then put the quad in sideways with the front wheel under the rhino and the rear wheel to the outside of the rhino in the space made by sliding it sideways. I do this all by my lonesome and no problems. I even have room for the bbq next to the rhino where the rear wheel of the quad goes.

I'd love to see pics if you have them. I have a honda 450r and a 12' garage... would be great to see how a Rhino fits in there.

You will not have any problems standing up the quad.. Yes, turn the gas off and run it until the fuel runs out of the carb. I have put mine in my garage for YEARS!! the only time it was on the ground was when I was riding it... If you can fit it like Thinkpt says than do it that way if you want but you should run the fuel out anyway...

oh and I am assuming you have a 5er and not a bumper tow.. If bumper tow, put the raptor in truck bed
