Our Sealand toilet sprays water out the back through an assumed crack in a fitting. Doesnt look replaceable atleast I cant find service parts for it.
Questions:
All all RV toilets interchangeable?
Any suggestions how where to buy a new one?
Any one paticular toilet better?
TIA

Parts for Sealand must be purchased through a Dometic dealer.
Most RV toilets are interchangeable. There is a bolt pattern problem with the old Thetford Galaxy. Sealands are normally pretty good units.
I have a Thetford and if I needed a replacemnt, I would goiung with another thetford porcelain bowl model. The Augua-Magic style II, about $250 or Style Plus for about $265.
All Thetford should be available at or through most RV retailers.

You may want to go to a dealer and "try out" the Aqua Magic V. It is kind of flimsy with the small pedestal.

I suggest you take it off and determine what is leaking. If it is the plastic fitting they are a replacement item at nearly any RV supply. You could use a mirror and see where the spray is comming from.

Leaking in the back is *usually* a bad vacuum breaker- an easily replaceable part.
To replace the Sealand with the Thetford you will have to turn the floor flange and reroute the plumbing.

Mr. Bryant is correct. The vacuum breaker does fail. If you are happy with other aspects of the toilet, why not fix it? You do have to find a true Dometic retailer to get part.
