I was looking on the web site and couldn't figure what the differance between the 3 models are. Also is anyone towing one of these (36') with a 3/4 ton?

I have a Mobile Suite and did a lot of research before buying.
Main difference is the level of interior finish, amenities, options available, and weight. Somewhat like different models / price ranges of a car.
You'd have to look at their brochure or web site to compare.
The select is the lightest and has a different frame to make it lighter. Also different axle, wheel system.
The MS and ES are same frame and wheel system and pretty similar options, but ES is finished nicer (in some people's opinions) and is therefore the heaviest. Some things that are options on MS are included on the ES.
As to weight, they all will be 14-18K lbs. plus cargo, so a 3/4T truck is not recommended. You'll almost certainly be overweight based on the charts. Most use at least a 1T and many prefer 1T dually or bigger.

I recently bought a Mobile Suites and sfprop is correct. I can't comment on the Select but I looked at the Elite before I bought the Mobile Suite. The ES even has granite countertops and steps. The ES I looked at was 36ft and still weighed 2000lbs more than the 38ft MS I bought. There is a guy in the campground I am in right now that has a 36ft Mobile Suite that he pulls with a Ford F-250 with a short bed. I have a F-450 to pull mine.

While having an older MS (05) of the year before the Elite's came out. The floorplans are alike but interior fabrics, colours and of course that granite on the kitchen countertops and the bedroom dresser/vanity top are the most notable differences but I'm sure there are other subtle things as well. As has also been mentioned the Elite & Mobile Suites share a 15" stacked box frame leaving lots of room down under to put insulation above and below the tanks etc., for great "R" values.

All you have to do to see if a 3/4 ton can carry the pin weight of a MS, just run the numbers. Should be in a f350 with Tow Boss as a minimum and preferable a 450 or 4500 series.

We have a 2009 Mobile Suites 36TK 3 and yes there is a difference between the ES and the MS build on the same frame and just different otions. The ES is heavier and the MS is also heavy. I'm so for very impressed with the MS. Has some of the best R-factors in the industry. Side to side leveling is awesome, makes set down time very quick and easy. We didn't look at the SS. GBY....

I agree on the DRV Elite & Mobile 450 or 550 would stay within the limits and tow well. But if you can go bigger that would be a plus.
Buddy of mine just bought a Freightliner to tow a 34' Cardinal and very happy with the new truck..And said it tows well

A 3/4 Ton truck would be marginal for a SS. A 1T dually for a MS and at least a newer F450 or 550 for a ES. I have a ES and tow with a older F550 and would prefer a bigger TV. JMO.

2blackdogs, are you saying your older 550 needs more power or more carrying capacity? I am looking at a new Dodge or Sterling 4500/5500 for my business so it could be a double duty machine for me, out current 5th is a family camping unit but I am looking for a year or two down the road. To all of you who own a ES MS SS, what are the options you love, wish you had or regret you have, any major issues?
Thanks for your help

I'll jump in on the items list you requested:
In hindsight after 4 years of ownership, would not have ordered the separate lounge with sliding glass doors feature, I can count on one hand the number of times we've actually closed those doors and know of some who've removed them for weight savings. LOVE the thermopane, tinted glass. Love the Magnum suspension, centerpoint airide, hydraulic disc brakes. There is a lot more that we like but I believe you're interest lies in the major options?
