I already posted this info on another forum, but thought I'd enter a post here....

For those that have tried it, they'll know how good this stuff is. I tried every product and device I could, trying to remove black mold and mildew stains from the acoustic carpeting on the ceiling of my 99 Itasca Class C. Some water intrusion had caused some staining as described above. I tried bleach, Simple Green, Folex, Bissell Carpet stain remover, with and without a steam machine, etc. None made any difference and then I read on someone's post that they had tried, and had good luck with, InstaGone. Suspicious, but eager to try just about anything, I ordered a bottle and it arrived in a few days. The instructions said to just spray it on and let dry - no blotting, wiping, scrubbing, nothing, which made me even more skeptical. Anyway, as instructed, I sprayed and waited....and within about 5 minutes the stains literally dissappeared. Sounds like a TV commercial doesn't it? Apparently it works on all stains on pretty much all surfaces. I haven't tried it on anything else yet, but I'll be curious to see how it does. I already got my moneys worth and I hardly used any of the product. I have some more mold stains to deal with after I get my rig back from the dealer. Here's a link to the product:

Appreciate the tip. My fabric walls and ceiling in SOME areas of my coach are looking soiled in dirt the past year and a half or so.

My unit is 6 years old, and the ecru colored fabric around the entry door, and driver's window are starting to look dingy.

I have a sweet tender nature, however I enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions.

I received my Instagone packets today. In reading their application instructions and uses, I don't see listed use on fabrics other than vinyl type fabrics (lawn chair cushions, etc). Do I understand from your post that you did use it on a fabric ceiling with no negative results? My ceiling is an off-white and I am concerned that my nice dark ceiling stain may be replaced by a brite white non-stain. :-)

If it's like the acoustic beige carpeted material I have on my ceiling, It did not bleach to white. It simply removed the black stains! Very good stuff.
