hey is there anyone having trouble with there phoenix cruiser i have model 2350 and have had it back to the factory 3 times and the dealer twice trying to get things fixed but things just keep going wrong they have tried to fix but there is a squeek in the door that is so bad you cant drive it with out it driving you crazy and yesterday the mud flap falls off and rips the rear fender flare off and noe the dvd wont read the discs just dont know what to do..any ideas
sounds like three VERY separate problems. How has the factory treated you?
I have a 4 month old 2350, and have found plenty of things to squawk about - but I still believe they are built as well or better than the other class Cs - and I've looked at quite a few!
I think Kermit (the owner) gets big points for the big things - layouts and material selections for example. The little build quality issues are endemic to the industry, I believe.
I had my share of startup problems, but Kermit has always made them good. I still am a fan. It helps if you are handy yourself, as fixing things with Kermit's parts beat the heck out of taking it back to the dealer or factory. Most of my problems have been due to Ford anyway, BUT there have been a plethora of problems that should not have come from Phoenix and did.

We've had no issues with our 2007 PC-2350. What little was not quite perfect I took care of myself easily enough. We don't have the slide-out option, but do have just about every other upgrade. So if you had slide-out issues, I couldn't comment on that.
Our entry door is very quiet, no rattling at all. It has a good fit and tight seal. I have to pull on the door from the inside, or push from the outside to get the deadbolt to latch. That makes a nice tight seal. It's not a problem to me. I like it that way.
Our mudflaps are very well secured too. Funny that I noticed that right away. I never seen such big metal brackets holding mudflaps before, though maybe on a semi-truck.
We've had no trouble with our DVD player, though I admit not very user friendly, adjusting everything on menus off the TV screen, with so few controls on the unit itself. Being multi-functional as a DVD, CD, AM, FM, and surround sound controller, it sure could have benefitted from more buttons. The few times I turn it on, I'm learning it all over again.
You've probably read my comments over the last year or so, how impressed I am with the Phoenix Cruiser, very well built with great materials and workmanship. But obviously my experience is not yours. Sorry to hear about that. I hope Kermit resolves your issues as they come up. Like someone mentioned up higher, I advise you take care of the little stuff, as long as it is within your abilities.
One thing for certian.......RV's in general are not built like a production car. They don't run an automated process, tweaking a robot whenever the quality sensor goes off. RV's are handcrafted, using a wider range of material types along with home ammenities. There is a certian amount of "cosmetic imperfection" one accepts with RVs. With that said, I feel my 2007, model 2350 is much better than others in the same price range.
But the things you mention should get resolved for sure. Again I hope Phoenix USA takes good care of you.

There is absolutely no doubt that if you are going to drive around with your house around you, there will be constant little niggles.
I believe you MUST know as much as you can (it only hurts when you learn for the first time!) to be an RVer.
You know, a coworker of mine always says," houses are a hobby for life!" Meaning- you will always have things to do and mantain - it doesn't end. Well, put your house on wheels and drive over our wonderful roads - and you're gonna have some work!
I have an 06' 21' Phoenix Cruiser and have had minor, fixable problems:
1.Electric dump valves would not open in cold weather. I replaced with manual valves for about 10 bucks each.
2.Step switch in door frame is a magnetic slide switch.. It never did work very well and finally quit in the up position. I removed the switch and put a rocker switch on the wall inside the door to raise and lower the step.
3. I did not get the built in DVD player because I had problems with the unit in my previous RV. I got a 'mini' DVD player from Walgreen's for 30 bucks. Plugged it into the flatscreen and it works great.

thanks for your comments generaly i love the unit its the best i have had and ive had plenty it just seemed like everything was going bad all at once, there has been many more things that i have not disussed here its not my intent to talk bad about the phoenix believe me im just btrying to find out if anyone has had trouble with there door..by the way the door was falling out of the opening before i took it back to the factory they had to bolt it into the frame with carrigae bolts so these are not minor issues and i am a fixer upper person but these things are unacceptable in a 70,000 dolar unit and before anyone says the thing about the house on the wheels i get it.there is stuff that goes wrong so dont keep using that langauge please..just because there is things that go wrong doesnt mean you have to settle for that..look at our economy and where our leaders have taken us are we just going to settle there to when are people accountable...enough of the well thats good enough attitude please..lets make company's and people held to a higher standard...
