Were thinking of going full timing in the next 3-5 years. Can anyone suggest any good books or articles on how to go about this? Or share your advice on doing this. Anything would be helpful. Thanks

I got my olympic catalytic heater at RV solar electric too. That is a 6,000 BTU heater that uses propane, but not electricity, and is completely silent.
If you need som great advice, look around here. Do a search in the full time section. Learn tips like using a little shower water saved in a gallon container to flush at night (I have a tub/shower and plug the drain to conserve water while dry camping) it also saves space in the smallish gray tank.
Well the secret to backing up a trailer is another great tip. Put your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel, and then turn it in the direction that you want the BACK of the trailer to go in.

Read, read, read posts on here and then look at the blogs of a lot of the posters. That will give you an idea of where they go, what they do, etc. And I'll second the Escapees forum - a lot of fulltimers post there regularly and Escapees is probably more fulltimer oriented than any other website.

If I were going to go fulltime within the next couple years, I would just read the fulltime forum here and the escapee website.. Most of the things you would need to learn is posted here..
If you have a question, ask away...

The fulltime books out there are OK, but most have dated information..
You are giving yourself plenty of time to be prepared..
The biggest thing we did, was to get our finances in order, clear all debts, and save like crazy.. Start downsizing your stuff..
We were able to retire and start fulltiming at 55, never regretted that decision..
I would love to be in your shoes and look forward to fulltiming again.. We fulltimed for 10 years and left the lifestyle way too early.. Wife loved the fulltime lifestyle, but will not go back, I would....
