What wheel chocks are people using to tie down full size street bikes? I have looked at several and the Condor SC2000 looks like it would be a good one for me. Anyone have one of these?

I use the Bikepro chocks and have been very happy with them.

We have the Condor SC2000's in ours and love them. Really work well.

I would buy them again no question!

I have the Condor but would not buy again. Because the tire sits in a V shaped bracket, it gets progressively deeper as you travel. Once I get to my destination, I have to use a wrecker bar under the tire to break it loose. Otherwise I cannot jerk hard enough to get it out of the chock. I think the ones with round brackets would not have that problem. Of course it also depends on the size of the tire, fatter tires may not have the same problem.

Typical of the cheap Chinese junk sold at Harbor Freight. This is just a poor knockoff of the BikePro chock. Never had a problem with my 2 BikePro chocks plus they are removable unlike the Condor.

Look at the WheelDock. I have been using on of these for over two years and love it. Instead of using an overcenter device, the rear piece is hydraulic and is very easy to remove a Harley full dresser by just backing.

We have two of the Condor PS-1500 chocks and wouldn't use anything else. They are not cheap. They are also removable. I use them free standing in the driveway when I wash ours. When I bought ours, they were about $450 delivered for two with mounting kits off of ebay.

Another recommendation for the Condor SC-2000.
I can ride my ElectraGlide up the ramp, into the chock, kill the engine and get off the bike. Then start connecting the tie-down straps. This level of convenience cannot really be appreciated unless you have used something else, and had the bike fall over when you thought it was secure - or try to hold it up with one hand while tightening the straps with the other.
Easily removable with 4 thumbscrews from the 2 small plates that fasten to the trailer floor, adjustable for different size wheels, solid construction. It's got my vote.
