Left Reno Sep. 1 for a 3 week trip to Wind River Range, WY, Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. 3103 miles 285 gallons of diesel at an average of $4.08/gallon. Here are few pictures. There are more Here.

I've been aching to go back to Yellowstone. Haven't been there since I was a kid in the 60's. Three weeks of paradise. Good for you.

Nice pics- it is a shame the trees around Green River Lakes have been hit so hard by bugs

Actually they closed the campground early on Sep 4th to remove the dying and dead trees. So we ended up dispersed camping for several days.

They tried to use pheramone packets attached to the living trees (the pheromone was used to alert the bugs that the tree was already attacked by the bugs) BUT it sounds like the bugs hit the trees anyway.

We have been to Yellowstone and the Tetons many times over the years. We never tire of that area. The Tetons are absolutely spectactular.
