Well Lee we are leaving tomorrow morning and driving to Reno to spend the holiday with my folks. We are coming home on Friday, so it is a pretty quick trip.
This holiday will just make the ones you come back to California for even more special for Shelia. And besides that you won't have to "share" the leftovers!

I know the holidays are hard when you are used to having family around. I don't have any family out here either. It took a long time for me to not miss having them around. I still do a little. My son is in Minnesota, two brothers in Mn, one brother in Tn. My brother from TN is flying out for Christmas so it will really be nice to have some family around for a holiday. Yes, phone calls and internet helps.

Newton, that is quite a visual I'm getting! Have fun! That's a nice campground, too. You can get to Hetch Hetchy from there as well, and it's well worth the trip.
