Well, we finally got the truck back on the road today. Three weeks, a rebuilt transmission, some new wiring....all totaling more than $4000. It seems that the tow truck driver ruined my transmission. What started out as a $1000 job escalated to a huge headache. Right now the transmission repair place is in my corner as far as the liability of the towing company and they have pretty much admitted they goofed, big time. The inside of the transmission basically melted and would not have been movable if I had done that. When they got done towing it there was a softball sized hole in the tranny. Seems he towed it rear wheels down all the way to Mansfield. If he had done that the two miles he claimed there wouldn't have been a problem. So, we'll see what kind of money they offer, but the stress and headaches this deal has caused doesn't have a price on it.

Anyway.......we're ready to get back to camping and some fun. Thanks again for all the help and support you guys and gals gave us a few weeks ago. See you all at Mohican!!
