30 days from now hope to be in or near Colorado Springs, on our way to Pagosa Springs. So are we going to have a pot luck?

Looking forward to Pagosa Springs and cool weather. In NV we're still in the triple digits. Was wondering about mesquitos in CO in Sept. There are only "bugs" in the outer areas and Mt. Charleston in my area, so I don't have to worry about flea/tick protection for the dogs. I will go to the vet for a 1-month supply of protection. But was wondering if I need to bring bug repellent also.

Hard to think about packing warm clothes in this heat.

thanks

Generally bugs are not a problem in this area except around lakes, but we'll be along a river. Go ahead and flea/tick protect your doggies though, and bring bug spray just in case, or its easily available in Pagosa if you find you want it.
Yes to the potluck Saturday night. And DO NOT FORGET to pack your bathing suit for the hot springs!

I made our reservations months ago and just had a bad thought that we might have gotten lost. However, after phoning, we are right on top I spent some time today plotting our route. There aren't too many options but that's the way it goes. We are looking forward to seeing new sights and old friends.

Just wondering how many and where they are all coming from?
Can't wait to be on the road.

There is a list here but I am not sure all that have registered have posted on this thread so they could be added to the list.

OK, Abby checked with the campground and sent me an updated attendees list according to the campground registrations. Click here to see the updated attendees list.

Anyone traveling on US160 going through Wolf Creek Pass? I'll be coming from Co. Springs and thought I'd go to Pagosa Springs on 160, but have been reading about the Pass.

Have to pack my winter clothes, in NV it is still in the triple digits.

safe travels everyone,

I've done it many times pulling big trailers. LOW gears and go slow and your fine. The road twists on the way down on the west side.
