So I was out and about yesterday and saw a guy putting wax on a swiffer type sponge? and applying the wax to the side of his trailer.
Has anyone done this before?
Sure would save me a lot of time climbing up and down the ladder.

The Swifter, and other disposeable wipes...in addition to having chemical treatments contribute to 83,000 tons (9000 full semi trailers!) per year to the waste stream.
MicroFiber mop heads like this, (unbelievable, but just ask any Hospital Housekeeper!) needs no water or chemicals to clean without scratching, remove tough dirt, can be washed thousands of times, and even cleans bacteria off of hard surfaces! We buy these microfiber cloths from WalMart and they are true miracle cloths! They are made from thousands of tiny synthetic fibers woven into a tough, durable cloth. Europeans have used them for many years to clean with, and their hospitals have cleaned floors without liquid for about 20 years. Give 'em a try!
It sounds like the above post is some kind of cut and paste response to any post that deals with cleaning, and some kind of advertisement in general, however this is similar to what i am looking for.
I used swiffer type pads and spray wax on our former TT. It was fiberglass and it sure was easier than climbing up and down a ladder for me. Me and ladders do not do well since I am a natural born klutz.
I've never used wax on it but I've put about 3 paper towels on it and cleaned the outside and inside of my front window using Windex. It's especially nice and easy working over the steering wheel side.
