Moderator: I am not sure if I am allowed to post this, I just want to give these cribs away to a fellow RVer who might need them
We have a set of twins that are 19 months old and next year they will not fit in the cribs I built for them. I have 4 bunks in my TT and we put them in one of bunks front to back.
I built them my self.
They are sturdy and they kept the babies safe this year for 12 trips
The babies cannot stick their heads through the rails. I used a Coke Can as a referance, You can not stick a can through the rails.
If anyone wants them they can have them for free.
If you want them you must come get them, I will not ship them.
I live in central NJ in Monmouth County. For those who live in North NJ I also work in NYC and I can meet you at the Cheesequake Rest Area Park & Ride On the Garden State Parkway for Academy Bus or the North Bergen Park & Ride outside the Lincoln Tunnel before or after work for pick up. Make arrangements ahead of time with me because I do not drive my tow vehicle in the week and the cribs will not fit in my 91 Cavalier.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Here are the pictures and dimentions:

How cute! Do the twins come with the cribs? LOL I think it's great that your helping another family. Maybe a free give-away forum would be nice on this site. You might also try www.craigslist.com. Someone who doesn't camp might have a need for them...maybe if they live in a small house or apartment. Just a thought. Thanks for being so thoughtful! Happy Thanksgiving!!

Sure is a nice thing you do. I don't feel so thankful for many things these days but seeing someone doing so much to keep others safe and be willing to give this gift of safty to someone else reminds me not all is lost. Looks like nice work also. I congratulate you.

Just wanted to bump this back to the top, A lot of people were probally busy with Thanksgiving last week.
I forgot to mention that if you look close you will see they also come with a mattres/pad.
My TT is getting the entire side wall replaced after the Holiday's so I need to clear these out by then.

You did nice work building those. Plans someplace? Or just by guess and by golly? I like the Coke can idea, I just dismantled an old crib that was too far between the slats.

Usually when I build something the plans are in my head, I get an idea of what I what I want it to look like by wandering around Home Depot then I draw a rough sketch then if that does not work I use the "guess and by golly" method....Works every time
I remember hearing somewhere that if a Can of Coke can fit through the rails they are too far apart (Not sure about Pepsi)
