If you had two options available either a deeply discounty 2008 Fleetwood Revolution 42n with tag axle vs. a 2009 Fleetwood Discovery 40 footer, generallly what coach would you choose.

Consider the differences of the spartan chasis vs the new 09 power bridge chasis in the discovery as well as the other upgrades in the 09 discovery vs the power, length, etc of the 42n revolution.

The revolution is $40K more than the discovery.

I would apprecaite all comments.

Well, the tag is a big benefit in and of itself, but the Revolution is built of the fantastic Liberty Chassis, has a fiberglass roof, and many more plusses over the Discovery.

what percentage is the 40K compared to the price of the cheaper unit? 40K buys a lot of gas and spartan is tried and true
EDIT, I didnt know the more expensive model was the spartan... how long has the new chassis been in production and who usses it?

Hands down the Revolution. The Revolution also has a bridge chassis called the Liberty Chassis with Spartan front and rear components. The Rev is truly a luxury class coach built on the same assembly line as the American Coach but marketed in regular Fleetwood dealerships.

The Revolution hands down. FYI, the Discovery and the Bounder are basically the same coach with a little more glitz on the Discovery. With the Rev, you get American Coach customer service, which by itself is worth the difference from the Fleetwood NO customer service.
