I need the *inside* bed rail height of a newer dodge ram...from the bed floor to the top of the rail...

Put a flatbed on it! They make some really nice ones with custom storage boxes and extra fuel tank options as well. Then you won't have to worry about bed rail clearance with your 5th wheel.
