I had one of the wires on my GFCI come loose. Made me crazy, as the GFI outlet was working perfectly, but the additional outlets that were protected by it, were all dead. It would have been nice if there was a list of which outlets wsere controlled by which GFCI.....It would have made tracking down the problem a lot easier......Pat

I have one in the basement that is the first outlet in the line for several outlets and a light inside. It likes to trip during the change over from Onan to inverter.

GFIs are fine in a house where the power typically comes from the same source. In my motorhome the GFIs act up when swithching between shore, inverter and Onan power.

I had the same problem. Checked and found a tripped breaker on the generator. Went back in to find some worked others were still out. Closer examination showed a 20 amp and a 30 amp breaker on the generator. The 20 amp didn't look tripped but it was not "tight." Set them both and all was good inside.

If your coach has a inverter, try reseting the breaker.

What happened to your wife that a GFI saved her? And, I don't remember what "ROFL" means!

I see question 2 has been answered....

In our house the bathroom outlet is way too close to the shower, I originally put a shield over it but when I had the tub area re-done they did not re-build the shield, so I swapped the outlet for a GFCI

Well Wife is rinsing down the shower walls and sure as shooting she shot a stream of water right into the outlet CLICK and darkness ensued

She is the kind of person who thinks... Later

In our '04 Bounder there is a switch just inside the doors under the kitchen sink. Check and see if they are set for the micro wave. If not that could be your problem.

I'd go for the reset button on your inverter. That was my problem "AFTER" calling out a repairman. Even took him awhile to discover it.
