Now, Now, people. Don't get all up in arms just because somebody has a different opinion than yours. I respect your opinion, and I expect the same in return. We all won't agree on everything all the time. It's nice to be able to put our opinions, observations, and experiences on the table. That said, if anybody desires not to have to read my professional input in the future, use your block key. Have a great day!

You really need to do something about your bitterness, and perhaps move to one of those other countries you are so fond of.
WOW, I haven't hears such an intelligent "move to another country"-type response since I was in grade school. I'm just passing on observations and knowledge. I don't remember saying anything about my "fondness" of any other country as far as living there, did I? If you disagree with my information, just say so, but childish replies are really not necessary.

Agreed, so please refrain from them.
Back to the point, I don't know what the future holds. Maybe a combination of diesel engines, electrics, hybrid diesels, hydrogen power (??), some combination of the above, or maybe some new technology. All we know is that the status quo does not work, so ALL of the manufacturers (domestic and foreign) are making plans for the future.

Surveyorjp scratches head ......
There was no childish intent in my response. You seemed to have a fondness for how vehicles are produced elsewhere and I simply stated instead of complaining about things the manufacturers here are trying, perhaps you should move over there. That way you would be happy with what was offered to the motoring public. Was that so hard to understand?
Sheesh!!!
And another thing, sarcastically calling people "geniuses" and telling them to "get out from under that rock" sounds pretty childish if you ask me. Perhaps you should listen to your own advice and refrain from such childish behavior. It would certainly be appreciated!

The bottom line is if we got the people out of Hummer H2's and other vehicles like it and into small cars to commute to work we would not have this problem. It seems to me many Americans are couch potatoes that like to complain about everything but they themselves are the problem.
