We have to pick up our daughter at the airport in Guaymas next week. We are driving in from Kino Bay.
I am looking for info on the following:
1) Where to buy camerones in either Guaymas or San Carlos
2) Where is the airport in Guaymans (driving directions from the north)
3} A decent, clean hotel/motel for an overnight stay in either city, doesn't need to be anything fancy. (translation: cheap
4) A decent restaurant for dinner and breakfast near said hotel, or nearby.

Thanks for you help!

The Airport is on the North End of Town just south of the San Carlos Exit! There should be several places to buy Shrimp , I seem to recall a store right on the Main Drag heading into San Carlos! Hotels again San Carlos Main drag ..Best Western ! Restaurants .. Lots to choose from!

About 10 years ago, we spent several nights at Playa Del Cortes, a older hotel, with interesting grounds. The hotel at that time, needed some TLC. Hopelfully it has improved.

There is a seafood stand right on the main street going into San Carlos, next door to a Super T. Everything is very fresh and well iced.

We've stayed at the Playa de Cortes as well - it was pretty overpriced for what we got but worth the expense just for the ambience of the hotel. You can buy seafood right downtown in Guaymas, close to the mercado.
