Well, with all things considered, a little research, and going to see a few different quads, I was able to make a decision, and found a very suitable quad for my son. I drove out to Corona yesterday to take a look at a couple of quads, and one of them ended up jumping into the back of my truck and followed me home.
It is a '04 Kymco Mongoose 90, in nearly Showroom Condition. This thing is so clean you could eat off of the muffler ! It litterally looks like it got ridden maybe two times.

It has the optional Headlight, all the paperwork, current registration. It also came with a lighed "Stiffy" flagpole, an extra brand new drive belt, clutch weights, clutch cover gaskets, and a factory service manual in addition to the regular owners manual.

I'm sure it will fit the bill, and serve my son very well, for a long time. Woo-Hoo !!! now we just need to get some seat time !!!

here's a few pics...

He has not even seen it yet, but we may do "The Big Suprise" tonight after Mommy gets home. I can't wait to see the look on his face! This is going to be Great !!!

I think we've got one HAPPY Munchkin !.....
We took him into the garage with the lights off, stood him in front of it, clicked on the lights, and he just went nuts!
He jumped right on, and it only took 5 seconds, and he was saying "Where's the key ???" LOL!

All in due time there little buddy, all in due time...
(Daddy still needs to install the throttle limiter, and the remote kill switch)

That is what this all about-
I get a lot of enjoyment riding myself but that does not even come close to the enjoyment I get from seeing my kids smile all day and fall asleep with their gear still on at night.
Awesome work dad!
