We can have a BBQ too... and sit down for a nice lunch outdoors!

The skies began to clear one evening

And, at least the dogs are enjoying themselves...

Oh..... your dogs are so cute!! they sure are having a good time.

Here's my B... we have lots of snow, but today it's raining.

and here's what's in my back yard - ice moutains! They form each winter if the waves get a chance to splash up and make 'mountains'. This is a very FLAT part of Ontario, so we appreciate every BUMP in the landscape!

Happy Holidays everyone!

I've got 18 ins. of the stuff at my house with 1/4 of ice sandwiched in-between. I live 28 mi NE of Portland, OR and today they are trying to get I-5 cleared. The snowpacked areas from traffic tires are staying rutty and the rest is slushy. A semi slid off the ramp by Kelso this afternoon and blocked the streets below I-5. I think the Longview area got hammered pretty good, too. My dau. lives in Kalama and I'm not going to try getting up there tomorrow for Christmas. Maybe this weekend when it's suppose to change to just rain. I won't stay long as the rain will surely freeze when the sun goes down.

Well, today it's supposed to get to 65,(which is a new record high for the date), washing the salt off the vehicles is first. Tonight, more snow and a 40 degree plunge. Gotta love this yoyo weather.

This is why our RT's in a hangar! I bought my first snow blower, just makes life so much better. It's supposed to be in the negative double digits tonight. The new fur coats make it ooookay!

Hah! I couldn't get my 4x4 out of the garage until this morning (12/28), even with chains. And I still can't get out to the street, just to the pole barn. I've got about 800 feet of downed branches to cut and burn. Maybe tomorrow the rain will melt enough of the snow that I can get the truck down to the debris piles.

Did manage to walk the greys out to the mailbox for the first time since the 19th. It's only 3/4 of a mile, but Boss was refusing to walk in the ice, snow, ice, snow, ice, snow layering. Considering how badly his legs are cut up from his previous romp in the ice, I can't blame him.
