My wife and I are will be in Florida for the months of Feb and March and April. On April 3rd we are flying our son, his wife and their children to Orlando to join us at Disney World for a week. We have reserved 2 camp sites next to each other at Ft. Wilderness. One is for our motorhome and the other is for a trailer we would like to rent and have delivered to the site for my son's family. Does anyone know of an individual or company in the Orlando area who would rent and deliver a trailer for one week suitable for sleeping a family of 5?

Unless the idea is to camp side-by-side at Fort Wilderness, why bother renting a trailer from an "outside" firm when Disney rents mobile home/cabins at Fort Wilderness? We haven't rented one in many years, but remember the occasion when we did as a good one. The "cabins" can sleep seven or eight people, I believe.

We were up at Disney last month, and I recall a loop that seemed to have cabins and camping sites too. It was right down at the lake as well. Check with Disney about that one. Otherwise, it seems to me the cabins are all together in different loops from the camping sites..but nearby. If you do have to be in separate loops, I'm sure Disney can put you pretty close to them.
We stayed in a cabin years ago and have fond memories. There was lots of sleeping in the bedroom (for four or five people) plus a double murphy bed in the livingroom. Nice, well equipped kitchen too.
Thanks for your thoughts and ideas. We have stayed at the cabins a number of years ago but the prices now have gone through the roof. We also would like to stay in a site next to my son's family. I have emailed the Camp at the Fort site to see what they have available.
I second Camp at the Fort. Tina has a great reputation on disboards.com. In looking at their availability the Terry is available for your dates but the Wildcat is only available the 4th-9th. I wouldn't hesitate to use them.
Seems like camping world now rents rv's in some locations. They have an Orlando location.
Also some of the large, local rv dealers may have some rental units available.
We did just what you are requesting in Jan/2007. Our son's family of 4 rented a trailer from Florida World. It was fantastic. They set it up for you and remove it when you leave. Believe me, it was considerably less, than a cabin at FW.
I contacted Tina with "Camp at the Fort" and she has a Terry trailer that sleeps 6 for $100 a night for 7 nights. They deliver it to the site, setup and teardown. I guess that's pretty reasonable.
