A Nissan Pathfinder V6 4 litres model 2005 and up will do the job easily.

Looking at your setup. There is no doubt it is doing what you want. But it does appear to be squatting too much in the rear of the TV. Or is that a illusion caused by the parking lot? Sometimes pictures make it look worse than it is. But, It looks like the rear is a good bit lower than the front, and needs to have another link or 2 pulled on the springer bars.
Remember. Front and rear should settle evenly, with the rear only settling 1/2" or less, more than the front. In other words. The TV should sit pretty much the same as it does unhooked.

just thought I'd throw that in.

Another alternative would be a new Toyota Sequoia.
I pull an Airstream with one and it does a great job. Plenty of power and lots of room inside. Though it's only me and my dog, I do have room for 6 more people, in comfort.
It has been very reliable, too, No problems so far!

Hi Terry !

Thanks for the advice. But don't worry, it's the picture illusion, everything is fine in my set-up. Here is another and larger picture of it:

My TT is level and my Pathfinder too (maybe ½ inch lower in the back).

And for more stability, I even build my own shank to get the ball 4" closer to my bumper. After 6 years with my rig, it is very stable on the roads.

New shank vs original REESE shank:

I also tuned many WDH for other folks and they all are very satisfied with the results.

Best regards !

Geez, talk about a hijacked thread, with pics even...

Back to the OP:

For basic safety reasons (and some legal ones), you'll want to know the ratings of the truck/SUV's you are looking for. You will want to know the total weights of the all your cargo, this means luggage, people, etc., that you want to put in/on the truck, look at the sticker on the driver's door and add your cargo weight (plus hitch/tongue weight) to that number. That's how you'll know if a truck/SUV can handle everything you are asking of it.

Having been in the need for a rig that will fit 6 folks, frankly, even with your smaller trailer, a 2500 burb "SHOULD" be in your future. Take 6 adults at say 150-200 lbs ea, you have 900-1200 lbs of people, now add in HW at say 500-600 lbs, along with a few other odds and ends, you need a rig that can handle 2000 lbs of payload! Not sure that too many of the smaller SUV's will do this!

An 8 lug 25 or 35 series van would be the other option, or an older Excursion! Skip the small rigs. I towed a 25' Prowler, with my wife and 4 kids, we ALWAYS were at max GVWR of my SW 1 ton Crew cab van, with 2400 lbs of payload available. Not sure how you can/could do what you want with a smaller GVWR rig.

Also,

I do not see claude's post as a on purpose highjack! Terri above asked a question of claude re his rig looked unlevel, and was it a picture issue. He may have gone a bit overboard on the answer, but the answer where it was posted was correct. so back to ops questions folks!

I have the same trailer. KZ lists it at 26'3. Mine loaded with food and all 5 of our clothing and stuff comes in around 5500 lbs. (GVWR is 7000) The dry listed toingue weight is 622 lbs..fill up those 2 30# propane tanks, add your battery, and HUGE front storage area contents and your up around 800lbs. There is NO WAY I would tow it with a small or mid sized V6 SUV. A Suburban or Expedition 4WD with the 5.3/5.4 V8 engine, 3.73 rear ends and tow packages would be fine. I would also put a stiffer LT vs P rated tire on it. Someone here tows the same trailer with a 07 Suburban or Yukon XL and has reported good results. I have towed all but once with my quad cab truck. (I've also had 6 in the cab, it is a tight squeeze and I wouldn't want to ride that way for a long trip) The Yukon XL had plenty of power but I didnt like the soft "squshy" feel coming from the rear end and if I end up towing with it more often I will definitely upgrade the tires. I've seen lots of good deals on used Subs and Expys here in WNY. The Expy should have a higher tow rating, generally 8600 vs 7000 as described above.

Not sure where you are in eastern PA, but a quick search of the Harrisburg area came back with some nice used Expys, heres one :http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct........sion=&max_price=&cardist=58&rdpage=thumb

Heres a Burb same area http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct........sion=&max_price=&cardist=30&rdpage=thumb

I've got a friend with a newer Sequoia and he pulls an AS. I've followed him down the road and he doesn't have any problem towing it.
There is massive amount of room inside his, too.
Towing capacity: 10,000#
Gross Combined Weight Rating: 17,080
Payload: 1400#
Comes with a Class IV hitch w/towing package.
It rides a lot better and is quieter than a Suburban, too.

My parents pull their 24' trailer with a short wheelbase 2 door Chevy Tahoe. My Dad says the Tahoe drives better towing then it does alone. The longer wheelbase 4 doors should tow better.

And here is the problem with the Sequoia. Subtract the 800 pounds of tongue weight, and you are left with 600 pounds TOPS, or more realistically 400 pounds (after you also subtract any options, fuel) remaining to carry your family inside. It's not just the sequoia. The 'burb has a similar limitation, and the Expy is only a little better. Even the diesel Excursion has payload issues if you want to stay under GVWR.

SUVs can tow a decent amount, and can carry a decent amount inside. But with the exception of the 3/4 tonners, they can rarely do both at the same time as stay within its published limits.

The only "half-ton" out there with enough payload is for a family of 6 (or more) and some decent tongue weight is the E150, which has 3,000+ pounds of payload. It also has 8-lug wheels, so maybe it's not really a half-ton.
