I saw a 3" 5+density foam mattress topper in Costco for $180. Have any of you used the toppers from Costco, is this a good price? Also, the topper is 60X80 and my mattress is 60X74...can the topper be easily cut to fit and are there any special tricks to successfully cutting it? Any input will be greatly appreciated as the standard mattress in our TT is not very comfortable. I put a sleeping bag on top of mattress and cover it with a sheet and that helps some but it's still not too great.

We have a 3" foam topper on our mattress. Didn't get it from Costco, but is sure makes a difference.
It will do until I can afford a $2700 Sleep Number matteress!
We didn't have to cut ours, but being that it is only foam, it shouldn't be a problem.

Cut it with a box knife and straight edge. I don't like them because of the lack of air circulation. I stopped using mine because it got too darn hot to sleep on in the summer.

We have the 4" memory foam topper from WalMart, works well. We had to cut it to size as well, found that a good sharp knife and a chalk line was the easiest way to cut it. It really improved the bed, like has been said before, it will work till I can afford the Temperpedic for the RV.

We bought one 2 years ago and took it back to Costco a month later. Hated it. It absorbs the cold and holds it like a big ice chest. After being on the road for a day in cold climate (no heat in fiver on the road), it was like sleeping on an iceberg. Plus it was always scootching down off the end of the bed at night like a big tongue. We tried it inside and outside our mattress pad with no luck. Nice thing about Costco if u don't like it take it back.

I second the electric knife. When I worked at Joann Fabric that is how we cut the foam. We have a 2" memory foam on the house bed and TT bed and love it. I also think the price is good for a 3".

I have a 3" topper and cut it to size with some large shears, like for cutting sheets of fabric. I use one of these to warm up the topper. Takes about 20 minutes but the wait is worth it.

We have a 2" memory foam from Wal mart and it made a world of difference for about $50.00.
