Has anyone swapped out their electric brakes for electronically activated hydraulic brakes? Was it worth the cost? Any problems?

I updated my trailer to 12in Kodiak hyd disc brakes from 12 in elec drum brakes and my only regret is I didn't do it sooner
I have a 28cf Cruiser fifth wheel. My cost was under $1100. I did the labor myself. Do a search. My pictures and story is on RV.net and Crossroadsrv.com forum. Was it worth it? Yes, all it takes is one time not being able to stop.

Same story, same answer. 38.5' Victory Lane and it stops. $1200 in parts. Best upgrade I have done.
