It is a 45 degree angle, but not all the angles in the RV are square so there were a lot of tough cuts.......go figure

Nice job, your pics may give me the ammunition I need to get my wife to agree to getting rid of the carpet up front.

Nice job, I am shopping for laminate for our motorhome, getting ready to do the same as you. Hopefully the subfloor will be in decent shape. Did you find the Costco brand of good quality and better priced then say Home Depot or Lowes? The neat thing is that your floor layout looks to be the exact same as mine, did you run the flooring under the slide a litte bit or just up flush?

Thanks
Sean

Great looking job.
we are in the process of redoing our floor and will be using a lot of your ideas.
we are going to put down a vinyl tile type floor and now after seeing your's , we are looking at removing the rugging up to the slide and doing away with the table.
we will keep our computer desk we had put in.
thanks again for the pictures.

I am the (Step)Mutha of Ken who did the outstanding renovation work on our rig (lovingly referred to as the Muthaship).

We took it out for an inaugural trip of two weeks and found the livability of our RV 100% improved! Floor surface is one of the dirtiest things to manage on a day-to-day basis and I have always carried a carpet water extractor and an area rug. We frequently stay in state/national parks--need I say more? On this trip, we stayed mostly in Hillsborough River State Park near Tampa--on forest ground.

The rig travelled lightyears quieter. A 5-minute swiffer job keeps the floor shiny and clean. Oh-I almost forgot--our bichon frise is NOT thrilled with the new floor as she cannot do crazy dog turns and jumps due to lack of traction. She is learning to identify new launch sites to get to the couch-her lookout post.

Functionally, the ONLY modification needed as a result of new flooring was a Wee adjustment to the electrical dial to juice up the electric Galley Slide slightly. No big whoop-get flat on your tummy under the fridge and tweak the dial until the slide moves without groaning.

Ken--extra insulation was well worth it! The extra work to reshape the floor registers to "residential" size and custom paint was inspired genius. You did an amazing job and the Muthaship and its owners are proud! You could probably make a handsome living renovating RV's! A million thanks to you--we look forward to Phase 2!

Very impressive, you did a great job. Boy the money you could make if you did this on the side...
