what about paying for three nights at the KOA and only staying for two? We stayed there last July - it was wonderful. Great location, great pool, fun activities (stargazing, pancake breakfast, ice cream social, horseshoes, etc.). Really enjoyed our stay there.

larryandpaula during our adventure in the Moab area last summer (2008)we had stayed at Arch View RV Parkon two separate one overnighter. We didn't have any problems with flying dust, ants and as far as nose when, I would say it was fairly quiet 80% of the time while we were there. Some of the nose does come from the "boys" with their toys coming and going to the riding area next door, they are required to travel slower inside the park area than the posted speed limit. Arch View has Arches NP a few short miles from it and is right at Hwy 313 to Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point SP.

We also made a one night stay at Spanish Trails, which is in the southern part of Moab. Spanish Trails is nicely laid out and is fairly quiet as well.

there are also many BLM Campgroundsin the area.

Hey - thanks for the idea. I called them and offered to do this and they just made an exception and booked the two nights for me! Great! And they booked us in a nice big spot right beside the playground for the kids (always pros and cons with that - ha ha!).
Thanks again!
