Having a similar coach, the travel distance will depend on how level the site is. Just from my experience, I prefer the air leveling over the hydraulic. Although, it has it limits, I have no problem adjusting the coach so the air will level out. So we don't have a high step to enter the coach, I dump the air first and then let the Advant Auto Level take over. It's fast and very secure.
The hydraulic, as you you know, is a 3 point system. This system can actually case problems if the site is not close to being level. From my past experience, even at the Monaco Rally in Salem Oregon, the 3 point system has more limitations which if over ridden can cause the winshield to pop out on the upper corners. My experience, the 3 points
if allowed to or over ridden will twist the chassis way to much.
To answer your question, it's not the amount of travel to be concerned about, it's more important to find a pretty level site to begin.
One important issue to beware of also, is pay close attention to the stone guard. When you dump(lower)the suspension in either system, you need to have someone make sure the stone guard doesn't get crushed under the trailer hitch/chassis during the process. From your signature picture, it looks like you may have already experienced that problem. The exterior window shade wand works fine to pull the stone guard back when the coach is lowering....

The systems vary depending on manufacturer. They are about 5 inches on average. Air being done to spring limits hydraulics being subject to placement and weight. The hydraulics are rated at 5000Lbs per piston on my 4 wheel set up. You have to remember the leveling can be done by compression of springs in one position and extension of spring on the other, by the weight shift from side to side and front to back.

I have not measured my hydraulic leveler travel but it can lift the wheel off the ground which is not usually recommended. The airbag leaves the wheel on the ground and lift the coach.
Amore states that a three point leveler can twist a frame but it is the four point leveler that can do so. Most hydraulic levelers are four point. There have been many threads on three vs four point levelers.

I am debating if i should add hydraulic leveling on the top of air leveling the coach has. My previous coach has hydraulic leveling and i remember that i had much more vertical travel.
I was in the suburbs of Atlanta last month visiting my cousin. I had to park the MH at a housing development construction area parking lot which was not very level. I tried using RV-levelers and they were sliding on the driveway, eventually broke. The air levelers did their best but the MH was not level. I had to run to lowes and get bunch of 2x10s to solve this. At 35F and windy, this was not much fun.
I quite didn't get the stone-guard thing you mentioned above.
If i understand correctly, you are probably seeing a reflection phenomenon that makes the stone-guard look not straight, but maybe
you are saying something different. Please let me know.

When my air bags are fully inflated I can still lower my jacks and get movement so I would believe that they would have the greater distance of travel. The jacks on this coach will not travel far enough to lift my wheels off the ground although my last coach did.

If any site is the uneven move to another more level area regardless of the type of system you have. I can lift my entire MH off the ground with my Equalizer system, but do not lift my tires off the ground to level, instead I will select a more level site.

I no longer have a coach with both, but my HR Navigator would level in poorer sites with the hydraulics when the air system just couldn't get the job done. The coach I have now can lift all four wheels off the ground, and you'll never do that with air levelers.

The Power Gear Jacks look like they are 4 point by having 4 jacks.
In reality they work like 3 point as only the rear jacks can tilt the MH left or right. The front jacks only equalize the pressure in the lines between each other.
