The Old Mill has a great breakfast in Pigeon Forge. Not Gatlinburg but well worth the 5 mile or so trip.

For breakfast like you are describing, Apple Valley in Pigeon Forge is a great place. However, my favorite breakfast place in Gatlinburg is Pancake Pantry - they offer more than just pancakes - lines are usually long but the food is great. They have several varieties of speciality pancakes on the menu, plus several other traditional breakfast foods.

I second the "LOG CABIN" Pancake House"(there are various pancake houses everywhere)..have eaten at both the one in Gatlinburg and in PF and both were simply delicious..Also, I LOVE the Apple Barn in Pigeon Forge, love those apple fritters/apple butter, oh so good. I have never had breakfast at Olde Mill but I do not like the evening food there at all. Many people love it but both times we ate there(and the last) it all tasted like it came right out of the can with nothing added to it. No offense to those who love it, but to me there are so many more places to eat with much better food...but again, I have never had their breakfast. It may be great.
