We've just reserved our tickets for George Strait during the Cheyenne Frontier Days in July. Can anybody give us some feedback on a nice RV Park to stay in or near Cheyenne? As you can see in our sig we need big rig friendly.

Thank you in advance.

We got our reservation for the Terry Bison Ranch, www.terrybisonranch.com, with full hookup and no min number of days. After looking at the options this one looked good and is only about 20 minutes South of the CFD site. And they were very nice on the phone. They started taking reservations on Jan 1 so don't delay in calling.

See ya there.

We have stayed at the Cheyenne KOA a couple of times. Easy in and out. Reserve the largest pullthru available with 50 amp. Friendly owners and clean pool.

Well, You don't know what you are in for. A real Class act. Worth every penny we paid. We saw him a couple of years ago and it was unbelievable. You know how some concerts are so loud, distorted, and don't sound anything like the songs as you hear them on the radio, cd's, etc ? Well you will be so pleasantly surprised at his shows. It is like you just put that CD in your player. Crystal clear, not distorted or too loud. I can honestly say it is the best concert I have ever been to. If he ever comes around the area again I will be there. The difference between class and some of the others I guess. Enjoy!

Another vote for the KOA. Clean, room for larger rigs, convenient to the interstate, nice prairie view. Likely to be windy (but then, you WILL be in Wyoming.) Some road noise, but not bad in a hard-sided rig. Nice new bathhouse. Downside - no shade.
