We are owners of a Pilgrim Open Road (33RKS) and it is a very nice rig. We especially like the full-size seated shower and the king bed in the slide. Ours has not been towed much, but it has pulled like a dream behind our Dodge 2500 truck. We love it! Just watch out for the tires and make sure you have quality tires and rims. No problems with ours yet (Kenda), but will be replacing them this season for Michelin XPS rib or Maxxis.
Pilgrim is still in business. This year they introduced composite construction towables at the manufacturer's show in Kentucky.
Sorry to inform you OpenRoadies but Pilgrim is not in business. They shut down operations in August of last year and declared bankruptcy in late September (or possibly early October). We were in Middlebury just before they declared bankruptcy. Both plants were shutdown. The U.S. 20 plant already had weeds growing in the parking lot, even though some people were there hauling stuff out. However, according to info on the Pilgrim forum site there has been some activity at the U.S. 20 plant.
