radardog wrote: Peel Shrimp raw 20 to 21 count shrimp works good. Soak raw shrimp in Thousand Isles Dressing. Cur some bacon strips in half and wrap around raw shrimp. Place on a greased large pan ( I use throw away tin foil pans) and bake at 375 until bacon is done, not real crispy but solid. Guarantee they all get eaten and you can prepare the day before and cook as needed
I made these Sat night with a tweak to the recipe. I like spicy, so I added minced garlic and hot sauce to the 1000 Island dressing to marinate. I would also add, use regular bacon, not thick cut - took too long to cook and then the shrimp was overcooked. Once I made the adjustment - I could not cook them fast enough to keep up with the demand. I made 3 bags of shrimp (about 90) and they were gone in minutes! I got tons of compliments and several asked for the recipe. Thanks!!

in Pittsburgh they put french fries on their grinders and salads!
AZ: cactus fries! Rattlesnake skewers! (well, they serve that in Sedona, but good luck trying THAT in your kitchen!)
Honestly I have not had anything in Phoenix that you can't get anywhere else.....

Cook the bacon for several minutes before you wrap it around the shrimp.

I microwaved it a bit, but didn't want it too cooked and the thick cut was still too thick - once I went with the regular cut, it worked out fine.

A good dip for chips or corn chips....take a 8oz. cream cheese and mix with half a jar of salsa. Really good. Just make sure the cream cheese is soft as it is easier to mix. Mix it a day or so before needing, helps blend the flavors.
