Join us at the Northeast Spring 2008 Rally at Indian Hollow Campground on May 29th through May 31st 2009 (the weekend following Memorial weekend).
This years rally will be slightly different than those in the past. First of all, we have rented the entire campground. So no reservations have to be made, the sites are first come, first served. All the sites have been paid for in full, we'll have to do some math, but I don't anticipate it will cost over $15 per night per RV.
Second, it is mainly dry camping. I say "mainly" because there is limited electricity, potable water, and rest rooms and showers. There is a place to dump grey water, and we will most likely have macerators on site for black tanks too.
Third, for those travelling longer distances who would like to arrive early or stay later, there is a full service campground nearby (7 miles) to accommodate. I know Gerry and I both plan on early arrivals. Windy Acres Campground
Directions to Indian Hollow
The best way (by far) for any RV is to approach Chesterfield center from the East and North. This can be done by taking I-91 North from the Mass pike to either exit 18 or 19. Either one will take you to route 9 West, exit 19 may be a bit more direct. From this point simply stay on route 9 West until you reach route 143 (Chesterfield Road). This turns into Main St when you enter Chesterfield. At the center of Chesterfield, turn left on to South St. Follow South street for several miles, Indian Hollow Road will be on the Right. There is a sign for the campground at the entrance to this street, albeit small.

Run, rabbit run.
Dig that hole, forget the sun,
When at last the work is done
Don't sit down it's time to dig another one.
Friday night cookout
This years rally comittee will once again host a free dinner
for the Friday arrivals. Hot dogs, burgers and fries.
Saturday night drive-in movies.
The pavilion has seating and a central board to hang our screen.
We will be projecting a movie or two on the big screen.
Tubing on the river
Bring your favorite flotie for a relaxing ride down the river.
Yankee Swap
Can't seem to have a NES rally without one of these! I'll post the sign up list here as soon as I get a volunteer on the comittee to take the reigns on this.
more to come...

Please PM Jay for your ideas on what you might like to bring. Keep in mind that IH has lots of grills, some are very large. So dishes such as pre-prepared chicken, beef or fish can be cooked up. Last year we also prepared a boat load of baked potatos cooked in the fire (or on the grill) by just wrapping them in tin foil. If cooking is not your forte, we still could use items like charcoal, utensils, firewood etc.
Please send a PM here to let Jay know any details.

Greetings from Maine. Did some sledding yesterday and today, not too shabby, Fridays are always nice when we can manage to skip school. Today we went to the dogsled and musher races. Sarah got to take a ride on a 6 dog team. I'll get some pics up when Liz downloads her camera.
Supposed to be -10F tonight. Gotta go get some more wood from the shed.
