This is the procedure I have on file.... I am not sure it works I just have it on file

1. Turn off refrigerator

2. Disconnect the following wires on the power board in the black plastic box.
IN THE ORDER SHOWN.
a) 12VDC. Positive and negative wires
b) AC power cord.
c) Solenoid gas valve wires.
d) Spark/sense electrode assembly wire

3. Remove the black power board cover.

4. Reconnect the wires in the reverse order you removed them in above step number 2.

a) Spark/sense electrode assembly wire
b) Solenoid gas valve wires.
c) AC power cord.
d) 12VDC. Positive and negative wires

5. Turn on the refrigerator.

6.Locate pin 15 on the wire harness 16 pin connector (P1) Pin 15 is the socket to the
right of the white/violet wire. Looking at the socket on the board it will be the
SECOND PIN over FROM LEFT TO RIGHT on the TOP row.

NOTE: do NOT remove the connector! Pin 15 has no wire in it...just stick your jumper
into that hole making sure you actually make contact with the internal pin. sometimes
this is difficult unless you use solid wire vice stranded.

7. Using an insulated jumper wire short pin 15 to the power board ground lug for 10-15
seconds. You will hear a click sound indicating that it has reset.

8.Turn OFF the refrigerator.

9. Turn ON refrigerator to verify the "no co" has cleared. If not perform the reset again.

10. Turn OFF the refrigerator.

11. Disconnect the wires again in the following order

a) 12VDC. Positive and negative wires
b) AC power cord.
c) Solenoid gas valve wires.
d) Spark/sense electrode assembly wire

12. Install the power board black plastic cover.

13. reconnect the wires in reverse from step 11.

a) Spark/sense electrode assembly wire
b) Solenoid gas valve wires.
c) AC power cord.
d) 12VDC. Positive and negative wires

14. Place refrigerator in service.

Thats all there is to it!

I'll supplement Jon's post. Below is a link to the Service Manual and to instructions on resetting the board.

Go to this page: Service Manuals. Scroll down the page to the "Norcold N Series manual. Covers N61X, N62X, N64X" and download it. Just below it are two more documents on the Reset Procedure. Both have pictures of the connector where the jumper connects.

The Service Manual has more details on the fault codes - see the manual page 8 for the N61X models. Page 21 has the reset procedure, too.

Other members have reported getting their reefers back in service using the reset procedure. If you aren't successful, maybe some of the other info in the service manual will help you isolate the problem.

Hopefully, your board just got "confused" with the 12 volt power issue.
