I read in another forum (Powerstrokenation.com) that one fella uses irish spring bar soap and he has not had another problem. His problem was in his truck and some farm equipment. He puts a bar of Irish Spring soap in the areas (one under the hood, and one in cabin of tractors) and he has not had another problem. He did also say that every now and then he scrapes the outer edge of the bar to keep the aroma. Cheap, no dead/stinky carcasses hidden out of sight and an odor that you can live with.

I havent seen any traces of the critters in my TT as of yet, but I may just get some "Cheap insurance".

Used that last year and for the first time WE HAD MICE. I swear they had green poop.
However it did smell nice.
This year we cleaned the whole trailer with strong detergent and removed everything, so far so good.

Essential oil of peppermint works for ants, too, if I remember right.

I've heard that drier sheets work. Also heard that steel wool around entry points / cracks works.

Checked my trailer today and damned if they didnt have a little dinner party right next to one of the drier sheets I had put in the trailer.

Guess I'll try the Irish Spring.
