I see Motor Craft replacement at Geno's for $59.95 for your rig. I've run K&N and AFE, I recommend staying with OEM.

before this gets moved to tech issues....anyone have direct experience installing the KN air intake on a 2005 F-350 the $80.air canister Ford wants is about to "choke" me. But Since its a Turbo I don't want to install someting that will make me wish I hadn't.
Ease of install?
Cost?
Replacement filters?
Better Ideas??
Its supposed to improve something performance? Gas Mileage?
Don't bother???
Inform me please.
Thx

Don't do it. Too much other than air gets through to the turbo. The stock filter is rated to to filter enough air for up to 500hp.

Stick with the stock one..they last along time, and you dont want to buy a turbo for ruining yours..

I had a 1999 F350 and I tried the K&N and switched to AFE Pro Guard 7. On your model I would stay with the stock filter for warranty reasons and it is a much better stock filter than the previous 7.3 engine model.
