Sleepy,
Hurry and get back to East Tennessee. I need help on some of the things I need to do on my new Lance which you convinced me was a good camper. It is working out great when Grandkids are with us. The tent out the back works and then when my bride and me, it just stays closed.
Really enjoying your reports about all you are doing. Please stay safe and above all, have one great time.

Ed, when are you going on your mission trip to Guatamala? and how long will you be gone?
We are resting up for another flurry of activity before we head east in August. we'll most likely come through Nashville on the way home.
We'll barely make it in time for the UT football season... my wife has already got her Big Orange cheerleader stuff ready. New coach, new hopes in the SEC!

These are from Canyon De Chelly, AZ. We could "see" evil eyes... then zoomed the camera.

Ancient cliff dwellings, the "hair" is desert varnish.

Just returned from Honduras where I believe I worked harder than I have done in forty years. We were building a rock retaining wall so a lot would not flood so a couple of buildings can be built for their church. It was so far back in the poor section of Honduras and it was over a 100 degrees every day plus high humidity. I ate good accept for lunch because I would give my lunch to the kids watching and I still lost seven pounds.Very rewarding trip and the "ticker" worked oh so good since it was repaired in August.
I sure hope our new coach can bring positive results. He sure has made a splash with comments he has made.
Give my best to "J". Be safe and have the very best of good times.

When we visited Jerry/Budster in Cochese's Last Stronghold we went hiking.
One of the views and then a close up.

A giant sitting on top of the mountain with his hoodie pulled up.

We're casual hikers... the altitude will wear you down after a couple of miles... no need for a pack... just carry water.

Another ancient dwelling at Canyon de Chelly... along side land still being farmed. this one is at the base of the cliffs... intruders couldn't get to them easily.

Boondocking at the White Horse Pass casino... Chandler, AZ

Paul, Terry, Merri, Steve, Janet, and me.
Pauls dog could speak spanish... it interprets for the Beddows when they are in Mexico.
Good visit.
There were a lot of Motorized and pull behind house trailers there in the background... many had been there for months.
A few days later we were the only one left... it hit 100 degrees F

Sleepy, I marvel that you've boondocked that many nights. I'd like to learn your techniques about finding a place to park the TC for the night. Do you do any preparation plans in advance for the nights location? Or do you just drive until you find a good spot for the night. I've always been the one who needs to know well in advance where I'm going to stop. I'd like to be able to get out of that mode and just "wing" it but I have a bit of uneasiness doing that. What can you suggest, what are your basic tips for finding a place to boondock? What goes through your head, what's your thought process/plan 12-24 hours before you stop for that night? What if you can't find a good location? etc. Thanks.
