I ended up helping a very old lady down here from the top... no pictures... but, I promis I'll have them on the way back up.
Where we are standing has been here since spain owned Florida.

There were three powder storage areas... all exactly alike except for the ventilation. They apparently used forms that were easy to disassemble and moved. The arch and room dimensions are the same all over the fort. It would make things easier to transport, store, and use in the tight quarters if everything is standardized.
QUESTION: Am I the only one having trouble with Photobucket... about once a month I loose access and edit functions normally available... I have a paid subscription. This is my third day in a row having to do "work arounds" to access my albums.
