We had enough light to generate a few amps with the 55W solar panel that the Lance factory installed on the front of the roof when we ordered our truck camper inNovember of 2002.

... and 200W from the 22v AMSolar panels that I added a few years ago. There are 40 cells per panel on the pvsolar panels.

We never had to use the generator on this trip.

I should upgrade the wiring on the Lance installed panel. I'd bet that it would function lot better.

I've cleaned the PVSolar panels, inspected the roof, and I'm taking advantage of the break in the storm clouds and winds.

I may be taking a last look at the Navel Air Station for a while... storms will be rolling in on Wednesday morning (next day), the Blue Angels canceled their practice...

You can see the NAS water towers in this picture... and the black lighthouse that is in the middle of the base.

I walked over to Mikes truck camper to invite him to eat with us....

... the step ladder is still set up after cleaning salt off the windows.

I cheat, use the step ladder to access the camper ladder when getting on the roof.

All the better to spy on Walmart thieves I'll bet.

It looks like a really nice, secluded spot to enjoy the sun, surf, and sand away from the hustle and bustle.

Soon,

Bill
