In late winter we had met a TC owner that was passing through Oak Ridge... he had found a place to boondock near the middle of town.
He had a new lance, side entrance, on a short bed truck. Fancy bubble windows, things that we hadn't seen before.
We drove around it a couple of times in our Prius... taking in the new look from Lance... It was a very nice brand new 2012 model.
I finally knocked on the door, introduced ourselves and offered to show him a very nice spot along the river... then we invited him to dinner nearby.
As we talked we found out that he still owned his new 2011 Lance 840 or 845 (I'm not sure now)
I think that I posted pictures of his 2012 model at the time.
When he found out that we were in his area near Pensacola he invited us to come by...
It turns out that he has a garage big enough for both campers and his other toys.
Most of my pictures were blurred...

He may have listed the 2011 Lance (shown here) somewhere... I'm not sure. They were both in pristine condition.
Without his permission I can only say that his name is Ken... I do have his contact information if someone wants to contact him. PM me.

Ken wasn't that far north of I-10 where it passes Pensacola... when we stopped for breakfast the next morning we pulled into a shaded area... we didn't have the benifit of the ocean breezes.
The woods were different... even the birds. But the beach is cooler!!!

We headed south (following the dark line) and didn't stop until we got to the National Seashore at Perdido Key.

One of the things that we like about our truck camper is the views... the dinette windows are about 9 feet off the ground... not much can get between us and where we are looking... and if they do... it's easy to move.
People that do pull in don't realize that there are people sitting behind the smoked windows... or maybe they don't care.
The ocean is pretty rough today...

Or this one... more fun than watching beach volley ball!
