Gall Darn Sleepy, I'm never going to catch up to you.
Our 450+ nights pales in comparison to your 700 nights. We are just returning home after 6 weeks in warmer southern California and Arizona.
Take care in N O when we were there last year I thought the truck wheels were square. The storms haven't done any good for the roads.

We were in New Orlean today... drove the truck and camper on about every street in the French Quarter. We drove down Bourbon first.. I'd been... but wanted my wife to see how much nasty there is in one place ... she got loads of pictures.
Later we went to Copelands on St Charles for dinner.
We parked accross from a fairly new, Lance short/side entrance t/c with slide from Calif. It was set up for heavy towing. We never saw the owner. I'll post pictures later.
We have been avoiding WalMarts...
until tonight... we are west of New Orleans... on US-90.
we're gon'a stomp tobassco chilis tomorrow... make hot sauce... New Ibera.. then eat mudbugs at "Pats" of Hendersen, LA.
Why don't you set up a BLOG for your trip? See my blog in my sig. You could post photos, maps and keep a record of your travels. It only takes about five minutes to get started. Go to www.blogger.com It's free and easy and all you need to know is how to click a mouse. Just update it whenever you have WiFi access. I find that I can get on an unsecured network from almost any shopping center parking lot and most motels. Most private campgrounds and some government ones also have WiFi as well as many interstate rest stops.

Heard you had some great food at Pat's last night. I'll never forget sitting in the dining room sipping our after-dinner drinks when the power went out due to storms. We sat in the darkness watching the lightning show using the lights of our cell phones to find our drinks.
