TC'ers are a different breed. It is the ultimate compact RV with everything the big rigs have in it, only smaller.

Maybe it goes back to being a little kid building tree houses. You outfit them with everything you want.

I'm in the process of fixing up my second TC. Learned a lot from the first and plan on keeping this one a long time. I'll have a place to sleep anywhere I go down the road, a place to escape in the event of a power outage with heat and cooking abilities, completely indepdendent power system, even a little entertainment.

I see it like this...any camper is an adventurer first. How you accommodate yourself depends on you comfort level, what one can do given your resources. You do not have to suffer the cold and wet to be A "camper". I always like to throw this one out there just for fun. Question: do you think the astronauts that landed on the moon can be considered campers?? Anyway our forum does rock and we try and help each other out. I learn something and teach something every week. It gives me great satisfaction to partake here when I am not camping. Rock on truck campers!!!

Kkeller - great thought about the astronauts, come to think of it, those landers are like pickups and they leave their camper in orbit...by golly I think we've found a new mascot...

I agree this is a great place. What does crack me up is sometimes a legite question gets a knucklehead response totally useless to the posters question, but that happens in most forums. 2 thumbs up to the people that keep this place running!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhh yes TCer's are best. Bought our first one 33+ years ago, on a Ford F250 4x4. It was actually our 8' cabover Honeymoon suite for 6 months. Living in 8' of floor space makes every living space since seem huge... Our new 10' Alaskan Camper should be a dream. After all these years we're old, slow, and the boss said she wanted a toilet in this one. Life 100+ miles from any signal light is freedom. TC folks go where others fear to tread... see you in the pucker brush.

Why!?!? It is a drop into the tank no pipes to cog...don't waste your hard earned $'s on CW TP!!! Use a wash out wand as I did for years about every 3 weeks of camping to make sure any hung up bits are out, but now with the new Lance I have the plug and play wash out...very cool!

YEAH! This is a fun and very informative place...you got any good ideas to share or develop on this site! Capt PJ
