How much did you pay?
I have read on here previously where people stated what they have paid for their memberships but a search didn't reveal any of those posts.
If you received an offer of a GS life membership recently, what deal did they offer you? I got a letter offering me a life membership for $499 and subtracting double the previous dues that I have paid. The total cost comes to $339.
I am thinking about doing it but I wonder if a better price is likely to be offered.
I know all about the junk mail and this query is not about whether Good Sam is worth the money or not. I know some people on here like to bash GS and in fact like to bash most everything. I also know that Good Sam is owned by Affinity Group which also provides this forum free of charge. Please keep the discussion limited to the question of what you have paid for life memberships and the date you made the purchase.

IF I remember right i paid $299.00 and that was over 15 years ago and i hope to be around for another 15 or more years.

We are charter members. I think they started to offer life memberships back in 91 or 92. At that time, I think we paid $392.

I received my invitation in yesterday's mail $299 if redeemed by 4-30-09. I'm seriously considering doing it this time/ this is 3rd one I have received over the past 3 years and the best price of the three.
