We are toying with the idea of upgrading to a toy hauler at some point in the near future, and I'm just wondering, while you have your toys in the garage, if you can still use the rear lower bed? We would be hauling 2 motorcycles. I understand it would be a bit of a climb into bed . . .

I like the floorplans with front kitchen, but my DH would like to have a bed to sleep on, while on the road without unloading bikes.

Thanks in advance for your replies!!

and the stink of gasoline wouldn't bother you? I would opt for a walled off garage area myself.

Although I've never tried that I'm pretty sure you could. I think in the long run you'd be happier with a front sleeper though.

The garage in my Outlaw has no odors of fuel, but some times a faint aroma of perfume.
My harley doesn't mark its' territory.
You need to remove the toys to sleep in my garage as the bed lowers and folds out into a queen.

I used to be able to put the bed down and use the top bunk with two quads in the TH. I'm not sure you could with motorcycles though.

Well we have a 12 ft garage with 2 queen beds and we have nice bedroom up front in our 5er, All garages have vents and i have not heard anyone here on the TH forum complaining of gas odors no matter the configuration there are soooo many now, Separate garage like mine, main bedroom in the garage like the damon etc....
Happy shopping!

Depends on what brand and model you have. Although we have a front sleeper, it is possible to use the top queen bed in our rig while the toys are still inside.

It has been my experience that most of the folks on here that complain about the "gas smell" spend most of their time on other forums, i.e. 'CLASS A', 'TRAVEL TRAILER', 'HYBRID', 'TRUCK CAMPER' not toy hauler. You get my drift... (as I whisper...) blue hair
Those of us that actually have toy haulers realize through experience that most "toys" now-a-days have well enough designed fuel systems that leaks and smells are pretty much (I'm not saying completely) a thing of the past.

i store all 4 quads in my fiver and never have had gas smell. I do turn off the gas at the petcock on the quad and run the carb dry before loading them back into the trailer. pushing them into the trailer is no big deal.

The tires smell more than any gas smell. My trailer smells like a dealers showroom floor when the bikes were inside.
