I hope to use the thread to keep a log of sorts with mods repairs etc....

So this was sort of an impulse buy my parents were in buying a class C and we saw this on the lot for 8995 marked down to 7500 with a soft spot on the bathroom floor... so we looked it over and found a light with water in itso we looked at the roof and found cracks along the edges in spots nothing a little enternalbond wouldn;t fix... we offered 5000 pulling it away with gas cert.. they accepted ( probally becuase not many will look at a trailer with a leaky roof. So here are some pics

Its a big step up from the 70 nomad

picking up TV is a 2009 F150 xlt 5.4 w/ trailer sway control and built in brake controller

As you can see the plate holder is broken I kinda like the look without in dangling might just mount it to the bumper and take my chance witht he po po and not having a lit plate

Some of the roof pictures .. I've fixed these up already with the dicor tape and dicor sealant and ordered a roll of enternabond for the rest but I didn't take pics.. I will get some tomorrow

and my parents 92 Jamboree

congrats on the new camper,do you plan on replacing the roofing in the future because it looks like it's pretty well dried out and cracking.

Good Luck with your new to you rig! We have a '98 Sportsman "2301" and love it. Got it last year. It had the best layout for what we wanted. We replaced most of the outside plastic pieces ( a/c cover, electric outlet cover, both door grab handles, etc.)Best mod was adding stablizers to the front of the trailer (don't believe they wern't factory installed). Enjoy and have a great summer!

well today we cleaned it out and did stuff stuff to it....

Added a second deep cycle. The one that came with it was brand new. and was talking to the yard guy who walked us thru it about adding a second battery later and he gave us one out of his shed for free.( also gave us a water preasure regulator and a downspout peice for our city water ( so the hose doesn't kink) He said guys trade them in all the time with extra batts. It's stamped aug 07 same make and size which is cool... he also included the wires....sweet(which is why the pos. is a bit long). I hooked up two on my last trailer I'm pretty sure I did this right.! Keep in mind the white is neg. black is postive on my trailer

the propane hose wasn't long enough so I had to go over top of the battery and cut a hole in the tank cover no big deal

I fixed the rear corner its been exposed for awhile and isn't pretty underneath

all together I need to practice with the calk.. it's not the same as bathroom silicone to work with

The old am/fm cassette

new cd player with aux inputs. We had a old peice of laminate flooring that matched pretty close and I used the screw holes from the old tape deck

the new deck with higher wattage was two much for the old speakers.. so new cheapy speakers went in

640 X 480 PLEASE!!
