My truck has so much more power and gets better mileage too with Hydrogen in the tires.

My tires contain a mixture of gasses, including but not limited to Carbon Dioxide, Dihydrous Monoxide, Diatomic Nitrogen, Diatomic Oxygen, various Noble Gasses and some not so noble ones.

Hey maybe you can market some of that ingenious mix of gasses and sell it for a nice profit! I'm sure there must be all sorts of great uses for it.

Oh did you hear they're banning dihydrous monoxide? Supposedly it causes too many accidents on the freeway. Safety hazard ya know...

The noble gasses go away real fast. They are smaller plus they don't interact so they go right through rubber quite a bit faster.

I've seen balloons filled with Argon, Neon and Xenon and was amazed how much faster the balloons deflated compared to an air filled one.

99.99% dry nitrogen gas.

Aircraft tires use it for the lack of oxygen. I've seen the results of aircraft tires filled with air and the results are pretty spectacular.

The RV use is for DRY. My original rims were very rusty on the inside from wet (oxygenated) air.
I try to use air that comes from a tank reservoir. It helps drop the moisture out. Those quick fill units common at many convenience stores or your portable unit pump the moisture laden air directly into your tire.

My bits.

If you are nervous about driving a truck with a camper on it, then by all means use nitrogen in your tires, its recommended by all nervous camper owners.

I like the cool moist air in my tires. They run cooler!!!

In fact, I filled my compressor last January with 5 degree air. When I put my camper on shortly I will fill the tires with that cold air to keep them cool all summer.

Then this August I will fill the compressor again with 100+ degree air to fill up the winter tires. Really helps melt the ice for traction.

Here's an experiment for you John, put pure dry N2 in your inner tires, and gas station air in your outer tires. Get back to us on what you find out.

I used to have a free and inexhaustable supply of R12 and R22 back in the 70's. I can't tell you how many car, truck, trailer and dirt bike tires I owned which never saw a molecule of air.
